The Qualitative Difference Between God and Being
I think that depending on where you start, or what angle you're looking at it from, you'll come up with a different way of describing the relation between god and beings. Soi here's one way in which we're not. God is pure actuality, whereas my dog, considered in itself, is a possible being. That gives us that qualitative difference in being. And i'm not committed to one particular position. I think that just depending on how you look at it,god can be the same as us, or god could be different from us, radically different, even.
