Is It a Foreign Run Commission or an Interventionist Program of Assistance?
The project was described by League officials involved as a success. But if you look at the kind of conversations with it up to the very end they realize that the ambition of the project has set them up for disappointment. The presence of this foreign run commission within kind of Greek domestic arenas fit into these complex political disputes on the ground during this period and provided a common target for populist figures like Tero Pangados in 1925.
