What Is Desert Pavement?
Desert pavement is what forms the bottom, or the base of many desert regions. It's mostly made up of quartz, feltspar and mica that resists like a very steep angle slump. Vegetation cover can eliminate most types of sand transport by the wind in deserts. So loes are silt sized particles that are typically removed from deserts by the wind. And it form when its sort of,. again, removed from desen environments and then transported by very largeik thousands of kilometers.
