What Is Ardashia's Name?
Ardashia is king of Persis after unceiting his older brother. He gradually began to expand his territory to pose a threat to Artabarnus, the Parthian king. It's difficult to work out exactly what takes place because of the nature of our sources. We depend on Ardashia's own representation of what happens in our rock cut reliefs.
