Did We Have Any Impact on the Third, the Forgotten Third?

I think there was some benefit in terms of teachers feeling energized and wanting to do well by the youngsters. So that would be for me an important thing. If you said, did we have any impact on the third, the forgotten third, the answer would be no,. We didn't because that was not what we were asked to do. And so I, the opportunity for this book is is to say, well, what do we really want our schooling system to do? Then how would we judge whether we were getting towards those outcomes that we've been talking about? Yeah, if you really set that out, there'd be lots of things that would need to change.
