Girls are going to get missed more because they're behaving appropriately. Because that expectation is drilled in a girl's a lot more than it is to boys. A boy can space out the window. I know because I was that kid, but a girl, if she's spacing out the window, she's going to get corrected to look like pay attention, tune in. And then it looks like she's paying attention, but she's really not.
