Parents shouldn't assume that because your child maybe is gaming with friends on the Xbox or TikTok-ing incessantly, that they are feeding their social needs adequately. I'm a huge believer that all electronic devices have to go off about an hour before sleep time as they either produce a lot of light or a lot of psychological excitement. And in managing depression, getting sleep right on a regular schedule and not staying up late is vitally important.
