How to Emulate a Successful Company
I think emulating others is a really dangerous thing to think about. I talk about this with my team actually quite a bit because the place that another company has converged to, like where they're at today, probably didn't go directly there. And so it's really dangerous just to see what a big company does and apply it to a small company. Cloudflare is actually an example of one. If you look at the shipping velocity of what they've built the last few years, it's just mind-blowing. They're building product at a velocity and at a scale that very few companies do at that level of maturity.
