The Dance of the Dragons - Season Two

I was really struck by how in fits and starts, Alice and Drenira over the course of this story thus far have tried at different times to avert a war. How did you build that out? Because I think it's one of the most wonderful things about this story from a book reader perspective is just seeing like how much they tried to not have a war. And we realized that really anyone single moment in here of these big moments, at least you could point to and say, well, if that hadn't happened, then surely they wouldn't have gone to war.
