The Danger of a Bear Trap

Right there, among the half-dead yellow grass, was an old, rusted bear trap. It took us a few tries, but Joey managed to hit the trigger mechanism with a chunk of old masonry and then snap. We both shared this nervous kind of laughter because it could have just as easily been Joey's leg trapped in that thing if he'd stood on it. Although we were laughing, we were definitely pretty freaked out.
