The Importance of Radiation Dose

I was glad that people doing procedures without wearing lead is common. The thing that also struck me as interesting was the disconnect between personal concern about radiation dose versus how easygoing we are about ordering tests and additional views, etc. I have quite a strong cardiac family history so I had two coronary angios back to back. And I was so emotionally wrecked by the radiation dose thought of it. It's almost like it's a hurdle that we kind of need to have to prevent over diagnosis.
