Is Marks Engaged Here in Ideology Critique?

In a context where people are exploited and have very little to live for, this can provide a tremendous sense of meaning for them. What marks is engaged here in here, i think, is ideology critique, right? Heis interested in the way that religion helps to rationalize and to justify the way that the social order works. Very often conceptions of god go right along with a conception of social order, justice, revolution, things like that. It's important we radicalize our notion of god by getting rid of idols.
