Darwin's Theory of Evolution
Darwin had five main observations and when he was formulating his theory of evolution. He recognized that populations tend to remain stable in size except for seasonal fluctuations. Darwin's third observation was that environmental resources such as food and shelter are limited in these populations he was serving. And his fifth observation was that much of this variation between individuals is genetic and therefore heritable.
