Peter Green was in John May's band the Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart. He later joined Fleetwood Mac, where he stayed until 1971. The guitar went on to sell for more than $1 million after a collector lost money selling it. "I paid a very, very reasonable price," says singer/guitar player Steve Perry.
