Gale Hay: If each of us does our little work, will that be enough to bring about the big, sweeping changes? She asks if we understand and behave as if we are members of a community of beings who all depend on each other. Hay: The problem of scale is an interesting question because somehow you have to be working on both scales at once. You know, it's not the same as being the head of the u.S. N and having power like that,. or it'm not the same. But all f our work together not only helps us remain hopeful but creates hope too.
