Is California Dormant a Bad Law?
Ricky Martin: The federal laws that we have on the books to ensure that animals are treated well are there's two of them, ones from the 1800s and they predate factory farming. He says only 1% of 60,000 pork producers comply with even allowing a pregnant pig to move essentially. Martin: I am really conflicted on this law. My like, my inner Peter girl is confused, but it's a 2018 ballot initiative that it's not just pork. It was also feel and hands that lay eggs so it's making sure that these animals literally can turn around in their crates.
