The Collectible, Like Baseball Cards?
In the early days of Bitcoin, people were collecting bitcoins or producing bitcoins through mining for just its own sake. To me, that is basically the definition of a collectible, like baseball cards. We have this innate desire to collect things which are scarce. And it's something that evolved evolutionarily. It allowed us to outcompete Neanderthals who didn't know how to accumulate savings.
