I think it's really like a matter of that healthy skepticism yeah healthy skepticism creates conviction being too skeptical creates indecision. At Tinder at Tinder I was advocating for some pretty big changes to try to you know get past some of the saturation and growth that the company has seen but those were big changes that got people out of their comfort zone. One of the specific areas that I found difficult for me is in order to become a rising manager and eventually an executive you need to be a great leader. The two failure modes I've seen is pms that are too focused on their team and not enough focused on managing up and then pms who are too focused on manage up and not enough
