Most philosophers would say this is just a metaphysical problem, that you can't really bring any science to bear on whether or not they'rs spirit. My view is that if ghosts operate in the physical world, there would be physical evidence. It's weird. Even like the people who call themselves materialists and wear it like a badge of honor, it's still all so weird and strange.
