The Relationship Between Trend and Mean Revulsion
The use of black shows in 1987 is not a vivid example of how things can go wrong when wrong models are used. We came up with a simple model on how, you know, trend could lead to trend or mean revulsion could lead to mean revulsion. And actually, both are equally positive. So my intuition is that it's much harder to go against a trend than it is to follow the trend.
