In our testing of ski waxes, when we look at the performance that we get, like the glide performance, it's actually worse if they're super hydrophobic. And so the best thing is actually to keep them like in this sweet spot between like 80 and maybe 110 degrees. So that increases the hydrophobicity of your ski base. But that actually technically means we don't need to have fluorinated substances in there,. The ski industry is just so used to having what they have and knowing how those things perform that they're kind of apprehensive to jump on any other bandwagon.
