The Importance of Safety in Ironman
"Safety is the big one. We do have people die regularly or more regularly than we might hope on Ironman courses like Heart Attacks in the swim," he says. "I would just love to see that that improvement continues and we sort of don't go while Hamburg never happened because I'd hate that event to be forgotten about" He also asks for a change in pricing, saying it's too expensive if you've spent 1,000-1,500 bucks at an race.
