The Effects of the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine on Blood Clotting Disorders
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are effective against COVID symptoms. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is 67% effective at preventing moderate or severe disease. It's also 77% effective for preventing severe illness, even two weeks after the vaccine. But it can increase a rare blood clotting disorder if given to women under 50.
