The Lord Heard Susanna's Prayer
Daniel took his eyes off Christ and started looking at what was fearful to him, what could hurt him. To do that, we can also look at the distortions of our mind or desires. You might be in a position like Daniel where you didn't get delivered, but instead you were hurt and hurt in a devastating way. And so we say, okay, God, if I am experiencing this great shame and great pain of memories or maybe even recently of being hurt abused, or God, we lift up that person right now who's listening to this.
