Jane Manning James asked permission to be sealed to Joseph Smith and Emma Smith. In 1894 request is made to Joseph F. Smith by Zina Yang on behalf of Jane Manning. As late as 1903 she's asking JosephF. Smith can I receive my endowments? Can I receive the ceiling? So there's these two figures Elijah Abel and Jane Manning who are both saying we want to go to the temple. And this causes Joseph F.Smith to sit down and decide to create a policy which it appears really hasn't existed to this point.
