These men have landed on a landscape that is equivocal to Baffin Island. Nansen did his training for his Arctic expeditions on the Haddangovida. And we should remember this is late February, 1943. I mean, the weather is just freezing. They meet up with this very exhausted Grouse party. Ronnaburg brings a fresh energy to the whole operation. When you talk to them, you can feel this invigoration or the energy arriving.
