How to Make a Lecture in Humanities a Learning Experience

I hear a lecture in humanities it feels differently much different than when I take like an engineering course. Just due to the nature of how academia is. Yeah, so I was just wondering if you have advice for like trying to make a lecture like what I can do to make it feel like it's something that you would want to learn from. You know, and I didn't take very many higher level sciences I actually could have gotten away with taking zero at Brown, but I took a few.
