The Covid Pandemic in the UK
Covid pandemic had a major impact on the writing of this book. But it gave me some kind of new material to reflect on. I didn't want it to be an autobiographical story about my search for meaning in the kent landscape. It's a story about the new international politics in englishness, which is forged by environmental catastrophe and climate change. Because we're moving towards the end of our time, so i wanted to give you an opportunity to shout out or help one person whose one border has been breached.
