The History of Fox Films
Fox Films was founded in 1915 in New York by Hungarian immigrant William Fox. When production began moving to Los Angeles for the benefit of better weather, Fox bought an existing studio facility and quickly added outdoor stages to it. Once they were finally free from the vice grip of the Motion Picture Patents Company, Fox films started cranking out movies.
