How to Capture and Store CO2 in the Ground
Pallita meets Currie Helgerson, the one-time astrophysicist we heard at the start of this show. He is working on a way to bury CO2 in rocks using fizzy water and geothermal energy. Carpfix uses renewable geothermal energy to power an accelerated process that turns carbon dioxide into stone. The technology could be replicated around the world with no need for long-term monitoring.
