Richard III was hacked to death in the heat of battle. Everything essentially stopped, nor if it was dead his son Thomas Howard Earl of Surrey had been captured. And so in common with most of the battles in the Wars of the Roses, no one kept fighting. William Stanley would have been feeling more than a little smug after he'd led that charge which effectively made Henry King. As he rode up to the scene his big brother Thomas Stanley would be wishing he'd moved as quickly as his brother. But nonetheless he was married to Henry's mum so everything should be peachy.
