Our son was definitely afraid of thunder the first time he heard it. He can understand, because who wouldn't be? It's like the the sky is rumbling. And then i just told him that the sky is bowling, and he laughs so hard. I think it creates the opposite problem, because sometimes he'slike, i want to go outside and watch the sky bowl s. But things that typically stick scare us, that aren't actually dangerous, the best way through is just exposure to those things early before we can create a narrative that they're dangerous yet.
