You Can Still Drive It Fast on the Highway
The Falcon was designed for Boba's career which he has now taken over. So all the modifications that were made to that ship are still relevant to Boba and I'm assuming that more modifications have been made over the years. Later on in the show a character called Hondo Onaka who's now quite popular at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland gave it a paint job similar to himself. He's essentially got the core paint job on it for that classic burgundy red and green that we see later on in the film.
