Aortic Stenosis

Aortic stenosis is a narrowing of one of the valves of your heart. When that opening is narrowed, your left ventricle has to work harder to pump the blood into systemic circulation. You're going to end up with cardiomyopathy enlarged and then can lead to heart failure if it's not addressed. Typically it's a valve replacement that is much less invasive than it used to be.
