Copplestone: Even if you believe the stronger principle that every contingent thing or things has an explanation, ah, you can run this argument in terms of a more modest principle. So it's kind f like the presumption is to think there's probably explanation. And then you an use this to provide a kind of gentle reason in support of the conclusion that contingent things in total, have a further explanation in Terms of a necessary thing.
