I think that the, e, the generational, like fathers, son aspects are really on display in this scene. I would love to just spend an hour talking about food in these movies. It's all really fascinating. And part of it is because vito isn't real. Like, it feels like these movies are telling us a story about a man that isn't a real person. There's no way to for them to continue, like being this ethical maboss, like it doesn't exist. You can't put your family first and keep them safe while you're also engaged in crime and laying unethical business practices at the same time. They're fundamental, like there in fundamental conflict
