Is There an Overlap Between Inflammation and Infection?
There's certainly overlap because inflammation is inflammation, right? And so if it's caused by one thing, it will participate. Inflammation helps make a better immune response. If you have a horrible allergic response, maybe it will help your. You get a vaccine and you may get worse influenza because you're in the process of having inflammation by the vaccine. That's going to contribute to the influenza. All most of the signs and symptoms of an infection are immune-based, not actually caused by the virus.
