The Advantages of Interim CFOs in Private Equity
Most of the guys that work in my team have private equity backgrounds or investment banking. And some of them have got pretty high level MBAs as well. What you find happens in private equity is they do hire very, very smart people out of business school. So what often happens is I'll get put on the board sometime as a chairman, usually just as a non exec. It's almost like we're a private equity firm who's acquired the business. But what we're not doing is taking the majority position. We're taking a minority position.
