The Secret Sauce of Retaining Great Talent
The firm has done a remarkable job not just recruiting the people, but retaining great talent. What's the secret sauce there? I think it's excitement. Everybody here is always learning. None of us are ever finished. And so this is like an adventure that you're signing up for. That sense of drive amazement being around people who are similar but nice. We don't hire anybody who's got sharp elbows and one of the two principles we had when we started is somebody had to be good at what they do, but no internal politics. "I told everybody, you will be fired for internal politics," he says.
