The Role of Nutrition in Climbing

Many climbers get injured with a long-term pattern of undernourishing their sinew before exercise. We tend to judge recovery on muscle soreness, but are the connective tissues recovered? In many cases, they are not because they recover more slowly due to poor blood flow. Anything you can do nutritionally to promote the process of collagen synthesis is something that will presumably reduce injury risk.
