The Problem of Ergodicity

An awful lot of probalistic mathematics depends on assumptions of ergodicity, which aren't safe. An urgodicity is essentially there's no path tependency and that one times ten is the same as ten times one in those conditions. Economics built its whole house of cards on kind of early nineteenth century statistical mechanics before people had understood this distinction.
