How Do You Get Your Child to Stand Up for Theirself?

A lot of the kids i work with are wonderful, but they don't necessarily know how they come off. I would ask them like, what do you think other people feel when you say this? And have them start to witness people's reaction. A lot of times the reason kids don't stand up for themselves is that they don't feel like they have options. To give them a place where every day they show their super powers really helps them feel better about them.
