There's no major ideological difference within the tories, as there was onder tatcher with tatcher and heseltine. And they've two years left of a term of office, so tiily, that would be enough for a tory government to say, snap out of it. Let's unify. Don't be stupid. But because the johnson government has been so corrosive and so appalling and so without moral foundation, that it's all to do with the fact that johnson himself is such a dreadful character.
