Energy abundance and availability to people globally is important for peace at the end. I agree with you. I do not like academic economists, but I am a very fond believer in free market economics to solve problems. A lot of the strife caused in the world is driven by the fact that we really do not live in free market economies. We have centrally planned monetary systems, we have centrally planned energy policy, centrally planned food policy,. And all these things have led to these negative externalities that it inherently caused friction in the physical world.
