The Struggles of Black Queer People in the African Diaspora

Trans people are often the first to be taken from us with the brutality of these regimes. Attacks on trans people have always been the hard bringer of fascism and white supremacy and colonialism. Maya is just one of those people anytime you speak to them you end up learning so much they're probably one of the smartest people that I know. It's amazing to see all of the black trans joy that we both get to feel and celebrate now.
