I've always loved fashion and I've always loved since I was a little boy, how it can like bring about different personas. In New York to be a painter or a performance artist as a living is very difficult unless you come from enough financial backing. But then I saw that there was a makeup artist and I just put two and two together and I kind of said, wait a minute. I do my makeup all the time. It's really not even rocket science.
