"I'm not an expert on any of this, but assuming it's true that the applicants of a certain race have on average or lower GPA and a lower SAT score than say the Asian Americans do," he says. "Is that reasonably related to the purpose of higher education? It's a hard question." He adds: "What I am sure about is that this is the analysis that should have been done in these cases"
