The Correlation Between Theta and the Rhythms of Speech
David Purple and many other colleagues have made early on a case, which is that human speech involves a lot of so-called theta activity. We're thinking of when you listen to me, is your brain sort of using that register or its own endogenous activity in that frequency range, to reorganize? Wouldn't it be very clever if you would bring those oscillations in sync with the stuff I'm providing you with? And that's where the problems start.
