The Importance of a Strong Voice in Politics

They're overrepresented among the Westminster bubble. Whether they like it or not, as we sort of say, near the beginning of the book, they are more likely to vote. They do have a disproportionate influence on policy and this is one reason we wrote the book. And another really important finding was they just don't get the anti-elite sentiments because the structures that they can see are causing such anger and resentment and uneasiness. So you know that's just the common sense that has been part of their lives so they genuinely don't understand.
