Orwell says that the animals agree with whoever was speaking at the moment. So they're not really thinking themselves. They can't find their own way. And this is kind of a, you know, oneof orwell's criticisms, i think, of most people,. Most people are too stupid or too obedient. You know, sadly, he's correct.
